Read the specifications and models of high-strength chemical anchors in detail, and remember to collect after reading!

When it comes to high-strength chemical anchor bolts, those engaged in curtain wall and steel structure reinforcement work are no strangers to them.  It is also known as chemical bolts and mainly consists of screws, nuts, washers and chemical agents.  Through a special chemical agent, the screw is cemented and fixed in the drilled hole of the concrete base material, thereby realizing the anchoring effect on the fixed parts.

High-strength chemical anchor bolts are divided into national standard models and non-standard models.  National standard specification models include M8×110 mm, M10×130 mm, M12×160 mm, M16×190 mm, M20×260 mm, M24×300 mm, M30×380 mm.  National standard high-strength chemical anchor bolt models.

The diameter and length of the screw of high-strength chemical anchor bolts are usually marked in inches or millimeters.

Diameter: Among the above specifications such as M8, M10, M12, M16, M20, M24, and M30 are common diameter specifications.  Anchor bolts of different diameters are suitable for different engineering structures.  The specific needs are to select the appropriate diameter according to actual needs.

Length: The values such as 110mm, 130mm, 160mm, 190mm, 260mm, 300mm, and 380mm mentioned above represent the common lengths of high-strength chemical anchor bolt screws.  In millimeters, its length depends on the thickness of the connected object and the depth of bolt embedding.

In addition to the above specification models other than national standards, non-standard model anchor bolts can be customized according to customer needs.

According to the material classification, high-strength chemical anchor bolts are mainly divided into two types: carbon steel and stainless steel: 「Cold galvanized & Hot galvanized」

Carbon steel high-strength chemical anchor bolts are divided into cold galvanized and hot galvanized.

The surface anti-corrosion treatment thickness of cold galvanized carbon steel is generally between 5μm and 14μm;

The surface anti-corrosion treatment thickness of hot galvanized carbon steel is ≥50μm.  Different anti-corrosion treatment methods can improve the corrosion resistance of carbon steel chemical anchor bolts in different environments.

Among them, carbon steel high-strength chemical anchor bolts also have different strength grades, and the strength grades are: grade 4.8, grade 5.8, grade 8.8, etc.  The higher the strength grade, the greater the tensile strength and torque capacity of the bolt.  When choosing chemical anchor bolts, it is necessary to determine the appropriate strength grade according to the bearing requirements and use environment of the project.

Stainless steel chemical anchor bolts are divided into 304 stainless steel and 316 stainless steel.  Stainless steel materials have good corrosion resistance and are suitable for projects in harsh environments such as humidity and corrosion.

Installation and construction process flow of high-strength chemical anchor bolts:

① Drill holes in the base material;

② Clean the holes thoroughly;

③ Insert the chemical anchor bolt agent tube into the hole;

④ Slowly screw in the chemical anchor bolt screw;

⑤ Wait for the colloid to solidify;

⑥ After solidification is completed, load can be applied.

In addition to the above specifications and technical parameters, high-strength chemical anchor bolts also need to meet some other requirements such as easy installation and good anchoring performance.  Small anchor bolts have a big role.  When choosing chemical bolts, it is necessary to select the appropriate bolts according to the corresponding specification requirements, so as to ensure the quality and safety of the reinforcement project.
